Thanks for a great day, Kelly. The Block Party was a great fun (and a tremendous success). Look forward to future happenings.

oopss--I meant Venessa! I always think of her as a Vivienne, for some reason. Maybe from the french "Vivre"!

I was just sort of hoping that Hurricane Vivienne & recent blogs would sort of blast good positive air in, and make the bickering irrevelant, but as long as someone is there to push the button back..it's human nature, I know. Or I wouldnt even have sent you anything, just remained silent. Hopefully people will simply get tired, or bored, of all that negative energy expenditure. Meanwhile, keep up the good work!

Hi Kelly--as I feared, there are aspects of this wonderful site that are veering down highschool hallways in the worst way. I've seen (we've all seen) activity here that devolves simply and childishly into exercises in pushing each others' buttons: "gotcha!" I have tried to follow blogs to get real information, only to get caught into some car wreck of an exchange that is so peurile I can't believe it. I guess that is the danger with public forums. Anyhow, it makes me miss the anonymity of the city sometimes. At least the sheer masses made a buffer for all the idiot behavior.

Thanks Kelly - we'd love to! You work in the city right? Perhaps we could all meet in the "bar car" on the way up from the city one evening ...

Hi-- I haven't heard--I looked in a couple of times, but no one was there. I can't wait for it to open! This could be dangerous--hot dogs right next door!

Hi Kelly
I had the Lemon Ricotta last weekend, might have it next week. This week we are spotlighting France, so I have a Chocolate raspberry, baked brie with raspberry pastries, cheesecake lollipops, apple pecan caramel and the regular NY style. We also have chocolate covered cherries, almonds, graham crackers and apricots.

Hi Kelly, great site!

A Beacon local gave me told me about it.

I have just launched a ning site. And seeing yours up and running is truly inspirational.

Here's my site, for people who want to help facilitate the move from oil dependency to local resilience throughout the Hudson Vally: transitionhudsonvalley.ning.com

Quick question for you... how'd you drop the "ning" in your site address? Did you have to pay to do that?

Keep up the great work!
Sarah
