Swimming Lessons Guide for Kids and Adults

If you were thinking about swimming lessons for the summer but haven't done the research yet, here is a guide that may help give you a head start! Seems we have several good options for kids and adults.

During our research for the guide, we saw good choices for each of the lessons, from location to how many lessons there were per week or month, and even differences in pricing and which was connected to a pool membership.

Would be great if Beacon could get it together to bring the pool to life! Having a community pool really enhances the city and the experience.

We take our kids to classes at All Sport in Fishkill. It's kind of a pain to get to, but we like it. There are plenty of swimming hole options and swimming class options in the wider area, but I wish there were a walk/ bike to the neighborhood swimming pool in Beacon.

The University Settlement option is mothballed for now unfortunately due to $$$. Again, we need a benefactor, or a watershed moment (pun intended) in the city government whereby commitment to a good swimming option for kids becomes available.

I think it could be a platform vote getter in the next election. Democrats, Republican's listen:

Whoever gets the University Settlement pool up and running for free should reap some good will.
