Sargent and Downing Gardens Is Crazy! About Beacon. We Planted Trees Even In The Snow For Our Children!

This Saturday The Sargent and Downing Gardens and Nursery went out as planned to plant the trees in Beacon for our children despite the looming snow storm. We Did It! Even in the snow!!
On Friday night Justin Riccobono,Gary Wood,Sarah Womer,James Krivo and Richie Cabo met at the garden to dig out the seven large root balls and burlap them for Saturdays Children's Namesake plantings in the sports field at Memorial Park and Greenstreet Park in Beacon.
On Saturday Justin Riccobono,Gary Wood,Sarah Womer,James Krivo,Noga Cabo,Adam Cabo,Justin Kyle and Richie Cabo were there working hard at Memorial Park when the Mayor Steve Gold came to meet us to say Thank You for all the hard work our group was doing to make Beacon more beautiful than what it already is for our community. The Mayor also helped to pick out one of the tree pits, and it was good he came out to see us in action despite the cold harsh weather.
I am very proud to be part of such a hard working group. The effort which was shown for our fundraiser, snow tree planting and all this season by our members is uplifting, and simply just beautiful. I Thank You all!!
