Bill, as you noted, Mill Street Loft has always had a tradition and focus of working with Teens, however, we also have always offered programs & courses for children and adults. General Art classes for all ages, Dutchess Arts Camp, The Art Institute and Junior Art Institute, Arts for Healing, Arts for Alzheimer's, and our myriad of out reach programs dot our daily schedule. The programs currently planned at the River Center will be for a wide array of people as we try to meet the needs of the people of Beacon and surrounding communities.

Todd, a quick question.  Is this Mill Street Loft venue devoted to helping teens in trouble through the arts in the Mill Street tradition, or is it a program for a wider, mainstream audience?

Please come join us at an informal information meeting about Mill Street Loft Arts at Scenic Hudson’s River Center in Beacon.  We've all seen all the construction happening at the Red Barn.  In addition, there many plans in place.

This is open to the public - so if you are interested in the arts and how this building is being transformed into a center for environmental arts and education come join us Monday night 7pm at the Howland Cultural Center, 477 Main St, Beacon, NY.

Come learn about the arts education and happenings planned by Mill Street Loft, updates on the building - and have an opportunity to give feedback on what types of programs you would like to see.
