Beacon Citizen Network (BCN): a place for neighbors to get the word out, be heard and stay informed in all matters concerning Beacon, NY.

My grandson Bryce Edwards who is 12 years old and in the 8th grade,  is playing one of the leading roles in the play Pinkalicious. He plays Pink's little brother Peter.

The play has already had 3 performances last weekend so I can tell you it was really great. If is a family play so if you have kids and grand kids, I highly recommend it. There is a lot of singing and dancing, and never a dull moment. It is about an hour or so long.

There are 3 performances left. Friday Oct. 26 and Saturday Oct. 27 at 7:00 PM and Sunday October 28 at 3:00. tickets are selling fast so go on line to  the Beacon Theatre and get your tickets on line.

My grandson Bryce has participated in many theater workshops over the past 7 years. Previous roles include The Artful Dodger in Oliver!, The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors and here at The Beacon he  has played Horton in Seussical the Musical, and Conrad Birdie in Bye, Bye Birdie. He is also an illustrator, having participated in two group shows at Open Space Gallery here in Beacon and created an "Art Guitar" for the Beacon River Fest".

As you can see , I am a very proud grandmother.
