Hello All,

I know many of you are Mac users and you may have already read about the recent Mac virus (iBotNet). This virus is very mild and has only infected a few thousand Macs. Those infected downloaded and installed a pirated version of iWork and/or Adobe Photoshop CS4 (those that don't pay for your software should take note).

Macs still have a much greater resistance to virus attack than PC's but now that Macs are becoming more popular, the hacker community will start taking more of an interest. There is probably no need to run out and buy Anti-Virus software for your Mac just yet unless you are the type to use torrent software to download software, movies, etc.

I will be keeping an eye out for future developments on this and alert you if necessary. In the mean time, those who are worried can install this FREE Mac Anti-Virus program called iAntiVirus
