Dutchess communities get $1.1 million in grants

About $1.1 million in grants was awarded through Dutchess County's 2010 Community Development Block Grant Program.

"These grants make critical infrastructure improvements and handicapped accessibility projects that may not otherwise be affordable for local municipalities, so I am pleased to direct this funding to many of our localities to make them become a reality," County Executive William Steinhaus said in a statement.

According to a county press release, these communities received grants for infrastructure projects:

Thanks Al ;-) I think you mean Beacon Terminal Associates and what they are planning to do with the old Industrial site there. Hope its moving beyond the planning stages.

BTA would probably have to help pay for the bridge. My guess is with that many units on their site, they will need more than one or two access points to the property. I sure some one else on this site has more information aleady.
