Thanks to all those folk who tirelessly lobbied at events like the Strawberry Festival, and those that went door to door, urging people to speak up and put pen to paper about their support.

Done and done. Equality for ALL! Go NY! Finally.

Couldnt we just outlaw ALL marriages?

Just did it. Common sense and 100% about civil rights. Thanks for posting, Chris! P.S. I have seen a man marry a man. It was 100% possible and right. Hopefully, we have progressed over these last thousand years. Funny, we demand so many things as we move forward and grow but when it comes to someone's rights...we quote things written forever ago that only apply to certain followers. Weird.

By definition, it is not possible for a man to marry a man, or a woman to marry a woman.  Do you really think it is a good idea to try to change what has defined civilization for 6,000 years or more?  (I have no problems with "civil unions" or whatever someone wants to call it)

I'll be moving to Saland's district by the end of the summer. At the moment, I'm living in Greg Ball's district, a bit to the south. I called Ball's office to tell them I support marriage equality and to ask him to vote for it. To me, it's a no-brainer civil rights issue, and too important to stay silent on.

Thank you Christopher!

Please take a little time like I just did to tell Steve Saland to reject intolerance, and support same sex marriage. It takes less than 5 minutes. Let YOUR voice be heard on this important note of social progress.
