Heard on the radio this morning: building near Craig House burned down

Is this that big empty building on the mountain side of 9D, south of University Settlement?

The building that burned down where the administration buildings across the street from the hospital. Pretty bad I was told. Firemen we there till past noon today! There was no heat or electricty to that building.

yeah, that's the main building in the blog, and that's NOT the building that burned

I think it is the one on the other side of 9D and further down towards Cold Spring. It's off in the woods a bit. It is (was) a nice solid looking brick structure that a little cleaning up could be (could have been) useful and productive.

Like a lot of Beacon's historical architecture over the years, sadly:

The article seems to indicate it is just a building on that property.  So hopefully not the main house that is pictured in this blog!
