Thanks to Jim Korn and the Greenway Committee, Mark Wildonger and Scenic Hudson, soon you will be able to get to Madam Brett Park from Dennings Point and Long Dock over the Dennings Avenue Bridge:
They got funding for it in December:
There's a tunnel buried under the Beacon Line tracks close by, but it's too expensive to excavate and shore that up, so they are running a sliver of trail under the railroad bridge here behind a fence, where a drainage ditch used to be. No more need to run along the Hudson Line tracks for a couple hundred yards to get to Dennings Avenue from Madam Brett Park, not that I have any idea what that is like, ehem, *cough cough*.
And soon you will be able to get to East Main, and eventually Fishkill.
