I think that the lame food at crumb and the coffee shoppe is delicious. I guess that makes me lame, too.

The bread that I got at Crumb was delicious AND the bbq pulled pork at The Coffee Shoppe was great.  Had some other businesses pulled pork since trying it and nothing compares to it yet!  Good Luck to all the businesses, but being open is key to having customers!

Since they've started offering lunch options I recently enjoyed one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I've ever had, thank you Crumb! And I cannot wait to try the breakfast tacos.

No! Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.

I am guided by a force much greater than luck.

Rid the town of street gangish punks !? Really? How about ridding the town of up tight yuppies? Then the transformation would be complete. I rather see and those people instead of seeing and hearing yuppies and their ignorant voices.

I was talking to my boss in Manhattan, who had been to Beacon a few years ago, about all the new galleries and restaurants in Beacon.  He was amazed to hear about it!  I told him he should check it out, with a "Second Saturday" as one of the better days to do it.  I believe a full page ad in my least favorite "news" paper, the New York Times, would pay for itself mulitple times over, as a result of people coming to Beacon who don't know about all the new things, or have never heard of Beacon in the first place.  With the Long Dock park set to open, it could be phenomenal!  If it's possible to rid the town of the street-gangish punks, then the transformation will almost be complete! (as long as the new diesel smoke factory, also known as the "recyclying center" doesn't kill off the benefits of all the Main Street improvements; but hey, diesel smoke pollution won't hurt one-day visitors to Beacon, it's just the people who live within a few miles who will be harmed)

Love CRUMB - but they are never open.  For a bakery to surview ANYWHERE they need to be open EARLY. 8am is not early, especially if the breads aren't even ready. The key to any successful store front is to be OPEN all the time.   Consistency is key.  Please try it.

Coffee Shoppee Flake, continue to sell your lame stuff you just lucked out is all. I guess since the Piggy Bank is closed someone one Main Street had to sling the lame BBQ.
