Running in today's New York Times. I like how they contrast Beacon to Hudson.

Just for the record, I'm not whining nor the least upset that they did not mention my store. It's just sad to see such blatant errors popping up more and more in the Times.

Thank you for posting it! Nice to read, even if the article isn't perfect, :)

Looks like there's a reference at the bottom of the article that it will appear in the New York edition of the NYT 0n 3/29. I think the Westchester reference is because the Times has tried to divvy up it's NY/Region section of the web site.

I didn't say it made sense. I've seen this disconnect between the web and print from them before. PoJo too. Like the Go North caption to the River Winds image on the PoJo site two weeks ago. I'm sure it a combination of software glitch and editing cluelessness.

I didn't really forget, it's just such a narrow strip between us--that's why I said "not considered Westchester," going back to your original comment. I guess I could have worded it better.

Dan-- It makes no sense to have an incorrect caption just because it's on the web. Can we say massive layoffs, "temporary" pay cuts, etc?

I think the issue with the caption is that it will appear in the paper that way under the Fovea photo below. The print article itself will appear on Sunday.

I think because Beacon is at the southernmost end of the first county not considered Westchester, we often get the benefit of the doubt. By the way, the photo is miscaptioned--that's the fabulous Iron Fish Trading Co pictured with the wire chairs out front (sorry, sold), not Fovea Exhibitions.
