This is for all our Beacon musicians. I am wondering if Beacon has or ever did have a town music society? I have been dreaming of summer concerts for the public on summer and fall evenings, in a central location on Main St., like the Cross St. Lot or (even better) the DMV lot. I am thinking, bandstand style music, nothing raucous but music everyone could enjoy. Maybe with the school and church music programs involved. A town picnic that would appeal to young and old alike. Something everyone could walk to easily.
