After School Writing Workshops to Begin January 3, 2010

Creative Writing, School/Content Area Writing, Peer Coaching

Offered by Susan Ruckdeschel, local author of Peer Coaching for Adolescent Writers, Educator, National Educational Consultant

Workshops will focus on cultivating thoughtful, reflective writing ideas for school and for fun. Students can bring in writing
from any content area to continue working on in sessions, or begin with fresh
ideas developed in the workshops under Susan’s direction. With over 20 years of educational experience,
Susan Ruckdeschel has been conducting student writing workshops throughout New
York State since 1991. She has been, and
remains committed to, helping young writers reach their highest writing
potential. Most recently, she wrote Peer Coaching for Adolescent Writers, a
how-to book published by Corwin Press, designed to aid teachers in using the
same successful practices Susan uses with her students to help them develop as
writers. Registration information can be found at: https://sites.google.com/site/studentpeercoach/classroom-community/...
