Yesterday's Travel section in the Times featured an article about visiting Beacon titled Art and Calm Just Up the Hudson
. Hardly news, not to mention that there's so much more to see than just Dia that the article doesn't even acknowledge.
nice is that the times did discover the very-recently opened Marlena's Kitchen and has this to say: "a tiny yolk-colored shop serving handmade pirogis and potato pancakes, is the brainchild of a retired Emmy-winning film sound editor who is now dedicating herself to the food of her native Poland." Jamaican Spice, Homespun and Cup and Saucer also got shout outs.
