via the Poughkeepsie Journal:
The Poughkeepsie-Dutchess County Transportation Council will hold two public meetings on Oct. 16 to talk about the Dutchess County Transit Development Plan.
The council will present the plan to residents.
The plan calls for streamlining LOOP bus routes, establishing bus services through reservations, and other issues, a release said.
For the City of Poughkeepsie bus system, the number of routes would stay the same, but locations would be different. The plan also calls for having timed transfers for all city routes and some county routes on Market Street.
The first meeting will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 16 in the council chambers of the third floor of Poughkeepsie City Hall, 62 Civic Center Plaza.
The second meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 16 at Arthur S. May Elementary School, 25 Raymond Ave., Poughkeepsie.
