Fovea darkroom refresher course this Saturday

A darkroom refresher course for volunteers, members and others will be conducted on Sunday, June 19 from 9am to 12pm.  This is a demo-style refresher course and will include a thorough examination of developing b/w/ film, printing contacts and enlarging b/w negatives.  Handouts on processes will be given to all participants and resource materials will recommended.  All who take the darkroom refresher course will have access to using the darkroom on a scheduled basis, which will be explained.…

Beacon tourist Trolley killed this year

Dutchess County Trolley is not running the Beacon Dia/Talix route this year. I might be the last to know, I don't know. Apparently it was announced in January. I just called them to find out the start date and hard this. Additionally they will not making the tram available for private tourist groups or for local government events. I understand it wasn't making money, but it was poorly managed with some obvious oversights like the Beacon train station stop scheduled 20 minutes after trains… Continue
