           The Denning’s Point trails are closed for the winter to protect the American Bald Eagle foraging, perching and roosting habitat. Denning's Point Musings

For those of you interested in exploring a new corner in Beacon, come wander around Denning’s Point which is part of the Hudson Highlands State Park. It is located south of the Beacon Train station and you can reach it either from the entrance adjacent to the City of Beacon Recycling Center, or from the Klara Sauer Trail (formerly known as the Beacon River Side Trail) that commences at the Metro North Station and ends at the entrance to the Point.
