Check out this article:  http://www.dailyfreeman.com/articles/2011/01/16/news/doc4d325e949901d910955148.txt

They are keeping the boat in Kingston and are they now moving to Kingston?  After the sweat heart deal they got at USC?

I would love to get some info?

Bannerman's Tragedy

This is the news story from the Mid Hudson News. As a person who has had the privilege to visit Bannerman's by kayak and tour the facility it is sad. As a resident of the Hudson Valley it is a true tragedy. The island is chronically underfunded and now we have lost a MAJOR Hudson Valley treasure.

BANNERMAN’S ISLAND – The entire southeast corner of Bannerman’s Castle came down taking with it about 30 percent to 40 percent of the front wall staircase and over 50 percent of… Continue

Building on the success of BCN

Hi everyone,
Based on the success of BCN. I have created a site for Philipstown. http://philipstowncurrent.ning.com/
For those living, working, visiting and enjoying the Town of Philipstown and especially the Villages of Nelsonville, Cold Spring and Garrison. I am hoping to provide the same type of useful and respectful forum as Kelly has created.

Adventure Race in Beacon

I am new to the Beacon Citizen group. I recognize some faces and names.
