Sewage Discharging in Beacon Harbor

The Hudson Valley Green received a water quality alert today from Riverkeeper. A citizen reported sewage discharge into the Harbor on September 17 and Riverkeeper confirmed dangerous levels of raw sewage. The discharge is still flowing as of today.

DIA repairs will cover "Nabisco" forever

The venerable Nabisco box factory building, now home to DIA:Beacon, is undergoing repairs to the south and west facades which will cover the brick with panels of corrugated zinc, likely burying forever the painted letters spelling out "Nabisco."
