If you're planning on doing any upgrades to your home this year for energy efficiency (insulation, roof, HVAC, solar panels, biomass stove, etc), don't forget to check what federal tax credits are available to you. The recently passed stimulus package has increased the amount of credit you can get for certain home improvements.
