The Beacon Community Garden, in its 4th year, is a non-profit started by Susan Ruckdeschel and other local residents to establish a source of free food for those in need. In the back of St. Andrew's church on South Avenue, we have 8 plots just about ready for seeding and planting. Please call 845.380.3437 if you are interested in maintaining a plot for the 2012 growing season. A $15.00 (refundable) deposit is required. Plots are given out on a first-come-first-served basis.
