I founded Sargent and Downing Gardens to pay tribute to this great City of Beacon. Henry Winthrop Sargent and Andrew Jackson Downing have played a huge role in American Horticulture, and one could say it started right here. We spent the day remembering Martin Luther King Jr. and meeting great people while we marched. I have never seen such a community feeling as the one that lives in Beacon. It is as if the days gone by still live on today. What a beautiful town to live in and bring up children, Thank you to all, Richie Cabo and Family.
