This morning I watched Zohar Cabo take the soccer ball from the defensive backfield, and ran it down the sidelines all by himself, he took it to the goalie, and scored the goal.
This afternoon the song Dear Mr.1% written by Michael D' Antuono and recorded by the seven year old singer of the Solar Sound Band went live on YouTube. The Beacon Independent Film Festival organized a pilot program for young film makers. As a result of this great program Adam and Noga Cabo put together their first ever music video. They also started a new YouTube dance video channel called Shoes_ShowYouHow(9Dance). Noga Cabo and Adam Cabo attended the young filmmaker classes, and loved the experience. They were very inspired. I founded Sargent and Downing Gardens to pay tribute to this great City of Beacon. Henry Winthrop Sargent and Andrew Jackson Downing have played a huge role in American Horticulture, and one could say it started right here. My car accident a year ago really took a toll on me and slowed me down. The way the current President and Treasurer were doing things just are not right. As many of you know I have had a bad car accident last July. As a result I have had some memory problems from brain trauma. But one thing I did not forget is why I founded the Sargent and Downing Gardens.The mission was to create a community garden and educational center to pay tribute to Henry Winthrop Sargent, Andrew Jackson Downing and the great historical role the City of Beacon played in American horticulture.It was a Sargent and Downing Gardens for the children and community.…

The first time I met him was when I had my business in Beacon in 1995; a flower shop called Sherwood Florist. It was one of the storefronts of the Beacon Hotel.I had attended a Beacon Rotary Club lunch meeting and he was the guest speaker. He spoke about the Hudson River and things he was doing to help clean up the river.

Noga Cabo wrote this song to help the Cat Sanctuary Mid Hudson Animal Aid after the terrible fire and the ASPCA. They will split all the proceeds 50/50.This was part of her special Bat Mitzva Project. She wrote the original song "Friends for Life" for them.
