Sending Private Messages on this network

I know that some, myself included, have been confused by the private messaging option on this network. I dug up this tidbit on the Ning help site that may help clarify things:

When you join a network on Ning, you'll automatically be able to exchange messages with the Network Creator and Administrators. In order to exchange messages with any other member of the network, you'll need to first become friends with that member. When accepting…

The Starn Twins take over Tallix Foundry
