Bike Stolen

I erroneously often think that I can just leave my bike on the street unlocked whilst I run a quick errand. Foolish? Probably. My partner had his bike stolen yesterday from behind Jellyfish. He didn't lock it up as it was in a rather hidden spot. Someone, however, apparently found it, saw that it was unlocked and off it went. So a word of caution, as much as I would love to trust our good Beacon townsfolk, there are some, probably kids, who can't resist an easy target like an unlocked bike.

billfold found

There was a knock on my door yesterday morning and a stranger with my wallet. It must have dropped out of my coat pocket when I got out of the truck. He left without taking a reward. He refused. All my money and cards were there.

Thank you good citizen. Please let me reward you.

Zombie Wedding Dance Cancelled?! NOOOoooo...

After trying to purchase tickets online last night, but being unable to find the link on the Beacon Chamber Of Commerce website (, I remembered that Beacon Bagel had a flyer in the window saying that they were selling tickets too. So I went over there after work, and the flyer wasn't there anymore! I feared what I thought was the worst, that they had all sold out. Instead I was told even worse news...that this event had been flat-out cancelled due to "lack of interest". This news… Continue
