There was a workplace shooting near Roosevelt Field Mall in LI yesterday. They found the suspect's car in Cold Spring last night. UPDATE: Beacon City schools in lockdown.

Massive manhunt underway. He is considered armed and dangerous. His car was ditched where hikers assemble along 9D.

Need volunteers to count pedestrians and bicyclists on Main Street, Sat 14 Sept 12pm-2pm

The Dutchess County Transportation Council is conducting a survey of pedestrain and bike traffic on Main Street in Beacon this Saturday, 14 September, from 12-2pm. I was one of a group of people doing the same earlier this week. If you are interested, please let me know by email.

Fall Preschool at Common Ground Farm starts September 20th!

Children ages 2–4 years old are invited to the farm to join in one-hour workshops designed just for them.
