Dog Found in Beacon Hills/Glenham area

I have found an elderly female dog wandering through my yard, back by Old Town Road earlier this (Saturday) afternoon.

She was dirty, wet, hungry and scared, yet very sweet. She was seen by my neighbor wandering around the day before, so she probably was out lost since before Friday's storm. She has a collar with her name and phone# number, (first 3 numbers indicate cold spring area) but no one has called us back of yet. She seems to have an injured back leg, or arthritis not sure. We have… Continue

Notes from The Bagel II

Hey Folks,

Tomorrow, on Second Saturday, the Beacon Bagel will have been open for one month. We want to thank all of our good neighbors who have helped to make it an encouraging first month and since it's Second Saturday, we've decided to stay open a little late. And since we'll be open late, we figured we ought to have some form of alcohol involved. So please stop by tomorrow between 4 and 6 for a Mimosa made with fresh squeezed orange juice.

To the women that flagged me down this morning.

Dog whisperer.

A person who has, or claims to have, a natural ability to relate to or connect with dogs.

Why I am being called a dog Whisperer?

Simply this, I understand what dogs are feeling and communicate with them by reading and using there own natural language and feeding them information that makes sense to them. Communicating the correct type and level of “energy” is also important in balancing the dog when using this technique.

How did I… Continue

I called the cat sanctuary to see if they'd take them but they are full- as is AWAN... any ideas? any interest in a few adorable lil cuddlers? I havent picked any up, but they seem little enough that they could be… Continue
