I am currently the Editor for a paranormal group here in Beacon called, "Ghost Magnets with a Twist". We do local investigations of public and some private locations. You can contact here or check out our facebook page called Ghost Magnets with a twist. We are in need of technical people right now. However, if you would like more info or might like to share your enthusiasm for all "things that go bump in the night" let us know. It is fun, exciting & meaningful!

Thus concludes our latest Drew Misadventure. He's home, he stinks, and we're all relieved.
And disgusted.

Drew the cat is older but no wiser! Last night he apparently broke out through a screen door, and this time there is no sign of him. He is a 16 pound, neutered, Maine Coon mix, black & tan striped, with a bushy tail. His family is very worried, as he is NOT an outdoor cat; Drew is gentle but prone to panic, and not very clever. Please spread the word and contact us at 845-527-0417 if you see him. He does not wear a collar, and is micro-chipped so any vet or shelter can confirm his…

Hi, we are cleaning out our basement and have a few light fixtures and a box of wooden shims free for the taking. I believe all the light fixtures work but can't promise... there are 2 of the black outdoor lights and 4 of the basic white/glass ceiling flush mounts plus a motion sensor pair. Send me a message if you're interested.
Thanks,
Jean…

Hi,
I wonder if anyone saw or heard anything regarding the removal of several of my hand painted, wood, flea market signs.
They are missing from posts on Rt 9D, 52, and Main St.
If you spot one in a hedge please let me know.
Best,
Emma Dewing, owner/manager

In addition to making art, I'm a professional makeup artist. I have a tiny company called nc2bags
which can be seen on line at nc2bags.com. Nicki Ledermann is my business partner and we create
and provide utility bags for our film community. Any artist, anybody who uses tools and likes to be
organized can use, and would love, our bags. Our bags are made in the USA and we would love to
stay in business but are under threat of folding. Our Local Chase bank is…

The Koehler family and Hudson Land Design would like to again thank everyone for their compassion and determination in helping us find our dog. Mookie is such an integral part of our family, and we missed him more than words can explain for those tumultuous 3 days. It just goes to show you how such a diverse community such as ours can support each other and turn into a unified machine. What an excellent example of community character. Thank you all...

Hello all...and a very special thanks to all of the citizens of Beacon who have been so compassionate and helpful since Mookie has been lost. We are working on virtually no sleep, but will not stop until he is found. We have two extremely helpful tips that have led us to the following determination: Mookie was picked up by a young woman described as follows by the eye witness at the ACE Veterinary office in Hopewell Junction: "blond hair, she was young, she was barefoot, she had these…
