Great News, the resolution for the Clearwater to move to Beacon and proclamation to Honor Pete and Toshi Seeger will be this Monday June 15th at 7:00 City Hall!

After one year of careful negotiations (and a two week delay) the Clearwater Contract is ready for ratification by both the Beacon City Council and the Clearwater organization. The contract is for the Clearwater to locate its headquarters at the White House building in the University Settlement Camp and for the Beacon Harbor to be the home port of the sloop Clearwater! The contract is a significant accomplishment for our city from an environmental and eco-tourism viewpoint.
