Afternoon sessions are available for children ages 3 (by December 31) and 4.



The preschool is located in the lower level of Christ United Methodist Church, Union and Phillips Streets, Beacon, NY.

Pediatrician opens in Beacon

 Hi, Beacon now has a Peditrician.

Orange Pediatric Care, has recently opened an office in Beacon at 301 Main Street.They are on the same block as the library, right next to the Karate school and Mr. V's deli. They are a small practice where you get to see the same doctor and not a large "medical group".

I know the doctor is Board Certified and the PA is certified also.

Beacon Community Garden Gets Volunteer Help

The Beacon Community Garden was fortunate enough to receive the volunteer effort of our local Americorp. A crew of 9 came and tilled the soil to prep it for this year's growing season. Thank you to all the volunteers who spent a day turning dirt for needy families.



The garden has given all of its plots away for the 2012 growing season. Among the recipients is Healthy Families, who will grow food for local families in need. We are also grateful to St. Andrew's Church for the space… Continue
