Signal Cannon stolen from Howland Cultural Center.

This signal cannon was stolen from the property of the Howland Cultural Center this past week. It is approximately 3 feet long, with the wheel base around 2 feet. If you see or hear anything about it, please contact the Historical Society or the Beacon Police.

Working on the commute: What are the best wifi options for the Beacon-Grand Central round-trip?

I'm just starting to commute from Beacon to NYC and I'm hoping to work on the train so I can leave the office a bit earlier. I'm not sure what the best option for wifi is on Metro North. Is there a specific provider that's better when traveling the Hudson Line? What's the best kind of mobile hotspot--affordable-I don't need a ton of gigabytes per month. Does it make sense to invest in some totally different technology that I'm not aware of?
