For years the residents of East Main Street and Mountain Lane have endured ATVs illegally traveling on public roads. These vehicles are unlicensed and not street legal. In addition to the illegality of this traffic, it is a legitimate safety concern as they typically travel above posted speed limits around dangerous curves and past residences where children are prone to play in front of their homes.
