4 fire trucks for "smoke in a crawl space"!

I heard a siren outside my house so I went to check it out and found several police cars and four (4) fire trucks, including one from Fishkill!  I asked a police officer if there was a fire, and he said that smoke had been reported in a crawl space.  Is there any wonder why our taxes keep going up when four fire trucks respond to smoke?  I'm off Sargent Avenue, so how a Fishkill fire truck ended up all the way across Beacon from Fishkill is a mystery to me.
