Selections from Beacon Open Studios

Last September, after the close of Beacon Open Studios weekend, the board of directors of BACA voted on their favorite works from the Kickoff Exhibition. The result is a show called “Selections from Beacon Open Studios” which will open on Second Saturday this weekend. Zuzu’s has generously offered to host the show, which includes works by 21 of the 50 artists involved in BOS. The show runs Jan 8th through February 11th with an opening reception on Saturday January 9th from 5-7pm.

Adopt a Visiting Artist

I am organizing a two-day residency at Dia:Beacon for my fellow students who are enrolled in the New Media MFA program at Transart Institute. It's scheduled for Sunday, February 28 and Monday, March 1, 2010, and 21 students have signed up.
