Love this cookbook

Has anyone read "Around my French Table" by Dorie Greenspan?  It is absolutely fabulous and not at all what I thought it would be from the title.  The recipes are easy and wonderfully written.  The ingredients are many times just your pantry stock or easy to get.  She offers alternatives many times just in case.I had it on my Christmas list but Santa must have thought it was too heavy a book for his sake so I just checked it out to see what I was missing.  The pictures and the writting are…See More

A new bakery for Beacon! Crumb opening soon

Has anyone seen the new bakery opening on the west end of Main. Owned by two CIA trained bakers, it is sure to be the place to flock for that "Bread of the Day" for dinner or a special bread for that dinner party or Sunday brunch at home. They are even opening the back courtyard, so now you can eat and go back for more and never leave. I can not wait! Go by and say hello!

Should be open by mid July.
