I was born and raised in Beacon and have been a lifelong resident of the community. I am married with 3 children and all my children have attended Beacon City Schools.
I am an Associate Broker with EXIT Drake Realty with designations in Senior Residential Specialist (SRES), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Short Sale and Foreclosures (SFR). My career in Real Estate began in 1999 and I have been one of the top producers in the Company consecutively for the past 10 years. I am a member of the Women's Council of Realtors of Dutchess County.
My love for the Hudson Valley area has kept me in the area. I am a member of the Fishkill Nazarene Church and I have been actively involved in a wide variety of ministries, including children's/youth ministries and have been a board member on several boards over the years.
I love any type of outdoor activities, including running, hiking and biking and spending time with my family.
My favorite thing about Beacon is the mountains: the growth and the little shops along Main St.; the small community where everyone looks out for each other and comes together in the good and bad times; the River and water fall that runs through the City; the closeness to the City if we want to go on the train and visit for a day plus the closeness to the Catskill's if we want a more country feel as we are nestled between the two; the construction of the new hotel/spa/restaurant at the Roundhouse; the riverfront for going on a picnic and then a walk to Dennings Point. There is so much to do that I can't pick just one thing.

I want to do a cookout or something when the weather gets a little better, so if/when it happens, you will be invited. I also want to have a very late Christmas party, where we do a "Chinese gift exchange", so combining a cookout with that might work.
"Kelly" is "Kelly Kingman?", the creator of the beacon citizen website (not "Kelly Knowles"); sorry for the confusion.
We liked the service and the message on Sunday. The sermons at our church tend to be long, theological explorations, rather than practical, biblical lessons, so it was a nice change to hear. We'll probably see all of you again. Have a great week!
