Mary Ann Kronk, resident seamstress and teacher of all things Needle Arts related has open registration for sewing classes including quilting. Recent quilting class was T-Shirt quilting. A local mom gathered up her daughter's college/sorority T-Shirts wanting to make a memory quilt to give to her as a graduation present. The Daughters of the American Revolution have graciously offered to host a sewing workshop. So, I am pleased to be offering a sewing/hand embroidery workshop at the Madam Brett Homestead on Saturday, Nov 12th @ 11am - tea will be served at noon and workshop participants will be given a special tour of the Homestead.

Hello Beaconites - The Needle Arts Guild has been giving sewing classes in Beacon (from my home so far) since July and I have had several really nice ladies come to sew with me. I just wanted to let everyone know that fall classes officially started on September 8th and that registrations are open which means you can sign up for a six week session at your convenience.
