How long have you lived in Beacon?

More about me:
Will be starting a TAI CHI class after the New Year. Classes will be affordable, at $10per session on a monthly basis, and will be held once a week at 7PM, here in Beacon. I'll be teaching the Yang Style short form. It's a wonderful form, both relaxing and energizing. I've practiced for over 20 years. My teachers were some of the very best in this country.
Leave word if you're interested, and I'll contact you with the details.

I am a woodworker and a carpenter by trade. Trained in NYC cabinet shops, and as a marine carpenter at IYRS in Newport, Rhode Island.
I enjoy crafting custom built-ins as well as some freestanding furniture. General carpentry can be enjoyable as well.
What's your favorite thing about Beacon?
The willingness of many individuals to be involved in adding to the richness of the community.
I love the artistic energy, and the natural beauty.
Beacon is a special town, where it's enjoyable to just walk down the street and greet our friends and neighbors.

Hi Hank,

Thanks for getting back to me. I think I was able to fix it with a few bolts and wood screws -- inelegant, but functional.

Thanks again,
Steven

Hi Hank,

Quick question...

I recently moved to Beacon, and our movers unfortunately broke our bed. It is a nicely made wooden bed. I'm not sure if you do this sort of thing, but I am looking for someone who could repair it. If you are interested, I'd like to talk to you about it. If not, maybe you know someone who you could recommend to me.

Thanks,
Steven
