I am a performer and music educator/teaching artist. I also do professional development for music educators and teachers wanting to incorporate music, theater and movement into their classes.
What's your favorite thing about Beacon?
So far, sipping wine in the garden at Homespun, Sloop Club sings, close proximity to amazing hiking and the arts factor. It seems that there are many folks interested in how Beacon grows (sustainably), which is of real interest to me.

Gina - thank you for "friending" me. I've lived in Beacon since 1989 and have had three sons in that time. I am a life-long accountant who is going through a possible mid-life energy transfer (not a crisis, I hope) as I've recently quit my job and I vowed never to work in NYC again - 25 years is enough. I am going to be home for my boys and I am teaching sewing classes. I have also become interested in first person interpretation of 1800 century historical figures (think Betsy Ross) and do and teach hand embroidery workshops...just an fyi so you know where I'm coming from. I love Beacon - especially in the summer time and hope you will find it a great place to live.
