In Praise of Rick Price

I just feel compelled to voice how much i admire Rick Price as an artist, a community member, a person. I am not an "artist", but I find his work to be beautiful, compelling, and deeply meaningful. I eagerly await the arrival of his newest mural. Having heard descriptions of the piece, and the meaning behind it, and having seen sketches, I know that it will be a gorgeous representation of Rick's work, and of the intricate and special community that is the Hudson Valley. Cheers, Rick.

Um, I am spying on your conversation with Kate - I love fires, wine and knitting! I have a fireplace where we could knit and drink wine! (Oh, and by the way - I'm free all days!) :) Let's do that!

The cut was cheap - about $35. She didn't do anything fancy - just a straight snip across for my bangs and trimmed the ends. I got compliments on my new "40s"-style bangs from my mom and John, but I was freaked out that they were too short. I'd go again, but first, I want to try the other salon Moxie I think it's called. Kelly has coupons for a free haircut - ask her for one.
