Beacon's 9/11 Survivor Tree clone is blooming

Richie Cabo propagated this tree from a 6 inch cutting off of the original 9/11 Survivor Tree. The NYC Dept. Of Parks donated the propagated tree to the City if Beacon for their 9/11 Memorial Park which is across from the Beacon H.S. Football field. The tree was part of the Sargent and Downing Gardens Namesake Tree Program when the Sargent and Downing Gardens planted the trees there was a snow storm in full force . This tree was named for Noga and Zohar Cabo. Adam Cabo grew a Golden Rain Tree from seed and he wanted his first propagated tree plant on the University Settlement Park on the green lawn to the right if the gardens . Richie Cabo planted both of these trees with his children. Zohar Cabo planted a Syringa tree inside the Sargent and Downing Gardens but it died so his name was added to the 9/11 Survivor Tree clone along with Noga his sister.
