As many of you may know, Common Ground Farm ran an active CSA for many years, but this year we are scaling back to help our land regenerate and to re-focus energies on our not-for-profit mission and corresponding activities. In 2013 our farmer will be growing food on 2.5 acres at Stony Kill (and in a high tunnel) for donation to local food pantries, for the Common Greens Mobile Market run in partnership with the Green Teens, for the Beacon summer feeding program, for our educational programs, for the farmers market, as well as for other food-justice programs when at all possible. We will continue to run educational programs for children and adults year-round. We encourage you to Join and become a Friend of Common Ground Farm. Your membership dues fund all our non-profit programs and will allow us to continue our good work. Join on the website: http://www.commongroundfarm.org/Connect/donate_to_the_farm.html
If you are interested in joining a CSA for 2013, please join our former Farmers Tim Heuer and Sam Wildfong in their new adventure: Obercreek Farm. You can join at http://obercreekfarm.com A portion of your share price will come back to Common Ground Farm to help fund our non-profit programs.
