Jim Campilongo Trio

with Chris Morrissey + Josh Dion                                                                                                       Jim Campilongo’s artistry and influential career, has earned Billboard Magazine’s accolade, “an American treasure”.  With repeated appearances on David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, nine albums of original material, and appearances on dozens of recordings, Jim is a working 'Treasure" in the industry.  From his contribution on Cake’s million-selling “Prolonging the Magic” to lead guitar duties with Martha Wainwright, Teddy Thompson and The Little Willies (his band with Norah Jones), his virtuosity and originality have inspired a generation of guitar players. Campilongo delivers the best in Blues, Country, Jazz and Rock with elegance, sensitivity and wit earning him a fan base most instrumental guitarists never enjoy.
His latest 2014 release, Dream Dictionary, is beyond-the-nut string bends, pedal-steel-like pitch manipulations, and rich harmonic textures "...come across like Cirque du Soleil playing the Grand Ole Opry..." (
Opener: Seth Adam
Alt-country, roots-rocker, Seth Adam, draws comparisons to Counting Crows, Tom Petty, and Son Volt. His latest studio release, “Steel Tempered Pride”, delves further into folk, Americana, alt-country, and psychedelic explorations.
This self-described “scrapper” takes a page out of the Lucinda Williams instruction book by performing frequently and writing deeply personal, heartfelt rock & roll songs. He has shared the stage with Grammy-winning Steep Canyon Rangers, Grammy-winning Robert Cray, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Carbon Leaf, The Alternate Routes, Will Hoge, Gary Louris (The Jayhawks), Ken and Drew from Sister Hazel, Grammy-nominated YARN, and Mayer Hawthorne, has had a song licensed to Volkswagen, and was described by entertainment columnist Roger Friedman as “the hardest-working best live act in indie rock.”
