Portrayal of the Human Form
Join us for a little wine, some bites, and an opportunity to meet with two extraordinary young artists and see their work! Exhibiting through May 2016.
Twenty three year old BFA graduate of SUNY New Paltz Graduate in Printmaking, Sarah Annesley has a thorough background in drawing, painting, and printmaking. She explores human psychology through portrait and figure work, using text to navigate through the human mind. Focusing on meticulous linework, and a neutral, selective palette, Sarah's images have a tranquil and thought-provoking nature that guides the viewer in an exploration of their own mind and journey as they grow and move in their own life.
Twenty three year old BFA graduate of SUNY New Paltz Graduate in Drawing and Painting, Cory Spraker currently works at the Dia Art Gallery in Beacon NY, in tandem with work on personal projects related to his art making. Using ballpoint pen to make repetitive marks, he explores the human form in layers. Cory’s inspiration thrives on those he surrounds himself with.
