Event Description

In preparation of his first budget, Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro is encouraging residents complete a survey on the county website (www.dutchessny.gov).  The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes.  If enough residents take this survey, it should provide both Molinaro and the Legislature a better idea of where the spending priorities should be.  Simply go onto the county website, click "Dutchess County Budget Survey" and you will be off and running.  I can be contacted on my cell 845.554.7565 or e/m  jforman@antalek-moore.com

It seemed fake?  Like the fake survey phone calls that you get. They are set up to "educate" you in a partisan manner, pretend information.

Why no answer "stay the same".   Why no questions about pensions? Prison system?  Court system?  Distribution of funds, equal per received?  The sheriff questions really seem odd since I rarely rarely see sheriff cars----is the sheriff system spread out over the county or do they cover country roads???  Where are they based?

Beacon also doesn't seem to be listed, I'd be curious if this survey is posted on all country websites???

FYI....For those of us antiques who still have AOL the survey does not work.

John

Thanks for getting this out there. It was not only informative but somewhat shocking to see were our money goes.  I was happy to give my two cents, even though it may have been a harsh two cents.  This is Transparancy and I hope everyone takes the time to complete it.
