Event Description

Would you like to donate $100 to the organization that has supported programs in the Beacon City School District like the Calico Ball and TEAM Beacon without opening your wallet?  Here is your chance!

The Ragnar Relay hosts relay races throughout the country and selects a local charity to benefit from part of the proceeds.  This year, The Beacon Arts & Education Foundation has teamed up with Ragnar Relay to benefit the children of the Beacon City School District. This year’s New York relay begins on May 13th in Woodstock and stretches 200 miles and approximately 24 hours to Tarrytown, with Beacon as the midway point. We need your help in getting runners teams to join up for the relay and to recruit volunteers to staff the route along the way.  The foundation will be paid $100 for every volunteer that we provide.

This is a one-time opportunity for our district and we appeal to you for your help. Our foundation is 100% volunteer run.  We do it for the kids who need us now more than ever.

Volunteers, please sign up at our website: http://www.beaconeducationfoundation.org/events/events.html or get in touch with our volunteer coordinator:  Meredith Heuer, meredithheuer@mac.com.

Thanks!!!
