Inspiration for Action: A Panel Discussion

Art and Activism is a grassroots collective organized to encourage activism through the arts. The group is inviting the public to attend “Inspiration for Action: A Panel Discussion” on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3 to 5 pm. This event is co-sponsored by the Peekskill Arts Alliance and Hudson Valley MOCA.
Marcy B. Freedman will moderate a discussion among the panelists. Each panelist is a visual or literary artist whose work has been impacted by their dedication to social and political causes. Audience members will be able to pose their own questions in the final segment of the event.
Panelists will include Ori Alon, Andrew Courtney, Carla Rae Johnson, Kahlil Koramantee, and Rachel Schragis.
The program will also include a short video history of art and activism curated by Paul Stark of Our Better Future.
